Learning Options Centre

Trudy McDonald BA, Dip Ed is a qualified teacher with over 25 years’ experience helping children and adults with learning and developmental difficulties. She has taught in New Zealand, Australia and Ireland in primary, secondary and special education schools. She is a licensed neuro-developmental and auditory stimulation therapist and is director of the Learning Options Centre, a private tuition and therapy service for children and adults in Toowong.

Gail Paterson BA, Dip Ed, D.S.E. is a qualified teacher, guidance officer and counsellor with a diploma in special education. She has over 20 years of experience in the classroom including pre-school, primary and high schools in South Africa and Australia. She specialises in school-readiness and special education and has a particular interest in educating parents to assist their child holistically.

Julie Conybeare, BEd, Masters in Spec Ed. Julie is a qualified primary school teacher with 8 years experience. She has taught in Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Julie has tutored children on a one-to-one basis since graduating
